sorry I have been away for so long. I had a bit of a health crisis that hopefully has settled now. I am dealing with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)with Diarrhea dominance. So I pretty much have to change diet and my way of life. I hope all is well with everyone.
I hope to have some pictures up soon of some knitting and crocheting that I have been working on.

About Me
Anything Knitted and Crocheted
Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.
My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.
I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.
So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

Family Circle-July 1975 ideas (image heavy)
This is by far my most favorite of the batch my mom gave me. There are ideas for sewing and crochet. Both of which I am pretty good at. There is even a skirt that combines both skills. I hoep to update some of the with today's yarns.
Now onto the pictures!
These are the ones that I really want to redo in today's yarns.

Granny Squares (warning image heavy) from Family Circle-July 1974
My mom was given a bunch of magazines. Tow of those had some great patterns, although it states you have to send in a stamped, self-addressed envelope to get over half of the patterns. There are some outfits that I can actually figure out how to do them because granny squares are intuitive for those that have crocheted them a number of times.
I really want to rework these patterns in modern yarns and update the look.
Now on to the pictures!
